Berhanu Woldmariam

Hi, I'm Berhanu! I'm currently in my third year of the Doctor of Pharmacy program at the University of Alberta, alongside volunteering at multiple clubs and organizations in Edmonton. As a second generation immigrant from North Edmonton I know first hand the struggles faced by minority youth in pursuing post-secondary education. Through my involvement in EEES I hope to educate youth from marginalized communities on different educational opportunities, support systems that make post-secondary education more accessible, and help them develop skills that will allow them to excel as adults. I believe that through my assistance I can do my best to help youth get their best from their experience in post-secondary such that the youth may become leaders in communities around Edmonton. In my free time I enjoy watching and playing soccer, alongside spending time with friends and family!
